Georgia, "breastfeeding" her dad to save him from cancer

A story of a 27 years old woman giving her breastmilk to her father in order to help him fight cancer has been running for a while over the web. This comes from an article published in April 2009 in New Idea magazine (Australia).

How she decided to "breastfeed" her dad

First of all, she never did that. Let's make things clear. If Tim, Georgia's father, 67 years old, drinks her breast milk, he is not breastfed at all.

Tim simply mixes his daughter's milk with some more traditional cow milk when he eats his cornflakes. Very big difference.

Still, the idea remains a bit weird, if not totally weird, and it's worth to remind how such a thing happened and spread over Internet.

Life-saving milk ?

Tim had been fighting for a while a colon cancer when his daughter became pregnant fo the first time and gave birth to her son.

Four weeks later, she watched a TV documentary in which she saw an American who had been drinking breastmilk, and who thought this had generated good results on his prostate cancer.

Georgia conducted her own researches over Internet and became convinced of the heatlth benefits of breastmilk to cancer sufferers.

Confident that she could help and maybe save her father's life, she offered him to try this unusual therapy.

He simply accepted. Apparently an open minded family. The story does not tell if Tim is ok now. Hope he is.
